Blood is a piece requiring several objects to examine the sounds that come from inside the piano. I use the piano as a sound lab--relying on the materials and shapes that make up a piano as noise-making elements. It is an open cadaver of opportunity and I experiment with touching, plucking, scratching and striking the exposed organs.
